PSR & Sacramental Preparation Registration 

Now Open for 2026–2027! 

It is time to register your children for the upcoming school year! Saint Katharine Drexel Parish offers faith formation programs designed to help our youth grow deep roots in their Catholic faith and prepare for the Holy Sacraments.

Parish School of Religion (PSR) Our PSR classes are open to parish children in Preschool (Age 4) through 8th Grade who attend public school.

• When: Sunday mornings from 9:45 AM – 10:45 AM (August through April).
• First Day of Class: Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the St. Patrick School building.
• Fees: $35 for one child / $60 for two or more children. Payments can be made via check or through myEoffering (select "PSR Registration Fees").

Sacramental Preparation If your child is planning to receive First Reconciliation, First Eucharist, or Confirmation this year, separate sacramental registration is required.

• Diocesan Policy: Please note that the Diocese of Youngstown requires two consecutive years of religious education to receive a Sacrament (Grades 1 & 2 for First Communion; Grades 7 & 8 for Confirmation).
• Baptismal Certificates: If your child was baptized outside of our local southern Portage County parishes (Kent, Ravenna, Rootstown, Mogadore), please provide a copy of their Baptismal Certificate.
• Fees: $35.00 per Sacrament.
