God is leading St. Katharine Drexel parishioners to reach out in missions with love.
We strive to fulfill Jesus' commission to Peter:
“After they had eaten, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these others do?

Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW)
The CIW  is a group of interfaith volunteers who work as advocates for farmworker rights, anti-slavery and to ensure fair wages.  In 2012, it is our mission to work the Interfaith volunteers on the Faith Moves Mountains Campaign
Our role will include prayer and participation in the Immersion Program.  We will visit Immokalee, with a volunteer group from our parish.  We will hear directly from CIW farm worker leaders, go on a walking tour of the farm worker community, and learn first hand about the Campaign for Fair Food and how you can get involved in Interfaith Action work.

Lifeline Family Center
Lifeline Family Center is a home dedicated to saving the unborn, and providing young women in unplanned pregnancies with a comprehensive educational program in a safe secure Christian home.  The Center's goal is to enable the mothers  to redirect their lives and become self-supporting within two years after the birth of their child.  This is accomplished through teaching them everyday life skills, furthering their education
and providing spiritual direction and counseling.
Saint Katharine Drexel volunteers assist in this effort by helping to introduce the mother to, or reacquaint her, with the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.
Volunteers are needed to assist with this ministry. Opportunities include Nursery Care, Office Assistance, Transportation, Life Skills Training, such as  Cooking, Educational Tutors, Transportation, Crisis Pregnancy Counseling, and Fund Raisers.  For  further information, please contact Lifeline Family Center at 242-7238 or a ministry leader.

Jesus said to him, “Take care of my lambs.” A second time Jesus said to him, “Simon son of John do you love me?” “Yes Lord,” he answered, “you know that I love you.”
Jesus said to him, “Take care of my sheep.” A third time Jesus said, “Simon son of John, do you love me?”
Peter became sad because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” and so he said to him, “Lord you know everything; you know that I love you!”Jesus said to him, “Take care of my sheep...
...I am telling you the truth; when you were young, you used to get ready and go anywhere you wanted to; but when you are old, you will stretch out your hands and someone else will tie you up and take you where you don't want to go.”
(In saying this, Jesus was indicating the way in which Peter would die and bring glory to God.)  Then Jesus said to him, “follow me!”
John 21:15-19
“Yes Lord,” he answered, “you know that I love you.”"
